How to sign up to submit FEP claims through EDI

Instructions

You can submit commercial claims electronically as a trading partner or with a third-party clearinghouse. In either case, you or your clearinghouse will need to complete the required forms before we can accept and process any claims.

How to submit FEP claims via mail

Instructions

  1. Download CMS 1500 or UB04 form 
  2. Print and complete form 
  3. Mail paper claim form and any supporting documents to

    Make sure all claims and attachments have member’s Blue Cross NC ID.
    Use black ink printing and completing the forms.
