Change Healthcare Nationwide System Outage Affecting Dental Providers’ Electronic Claim Submission

The Change Healthcare nationwide system outage is continuing to affect our providers, including our Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) dental providers.

Currently, Blue Cross NC dental providers are unable to submit electronic claims to Blue Cross NC through Change Healthcare (CHC) due to the CHC outage. For services covered under our Dental Blue and Dental Blue Select plans, CHC is currently the only electronic clearinghouse option for dental providers to submit claims. The preferred method for dental providers is to submit paper claims to the addresses below:
